Read more about the VENTURA-7 research study for adults with severe depression who feel they have lost the ability to feel interest or desire. In this study, an oral investigational drug is evaluated that is taken together with your current antidepressant medication from which you have not had a satisfactory effect.

The main purpose of this study is to see if the once-daily oral study drug is safe and effective against depression symptoms when taken as an adjunct to your current antidepressant medication. To be eligible to participate in the study, you must:

  • be between 18 and 64 years old
  • have been diagnosed with depression
  • experience symptoms of depression, including loss of interest or inability to feel joy, despite currently taking antidepressants.

If you are interested in learning more about the study, the study physician will discuss additional eligibility requirements with you. All study visits and medical care required for the study will be provided free of charge. Study participation is estimated to take up to 36 weeks (approximately 9 months).

NOTE: The research study is only done in Lund.
